The assembly was improved from the original in several ways:

• Additional Height in U-Clamp means additional threading and less likelihood of stripping
• Hand Comfortable Knob that's just the right diameter to get just the right amount of torque
• A Large Plastic foot that's specially attached to never fall off. The foot is bolted to the stem.
